Golf at Mountain Meadows
Mountain Meadows Golf Course has been a cornerstone of Pomona’s golf scene since its opening in 1921, combining historic charm with championship-level challenges. Originally redesigned by Ted Robinson Sr. in the 1960s, this William P. Bell-designed layout features rolling fairways, elevated tees, and breathtaking views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Located just twenty-five miles east of Los Angeles and minutes from the 10 freeway, and adjacent to Frank G. Bonelli Park, the lush grounds offer an expansive feel unique to the Inland Empire.
With a demanding slope rating of 129, the 18-hole, 6,440-yard course includes relatively blind tee shots, elevation changes, and multiple side hill lies, highlighted by the signature highlighted by the signature 10th hole, featuring a distinctive tree positioned in the middle of the fairway that creates memorable shot-making decisions. Beyond the course itself, Mountain Meadows provides exceptional practice facilities, dining, and event spaces, ensuring a complete destination for golf, learning, and celebration in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley.
